A hot Bengali-style breakfast is served as the city road gives way to broad rivers and mangrove-lined waterways.

If the forest-permit programme is confirmed, a Forest Guide accompanies that component. Otherwise, an alternative Sundarban river and mangrove route that does not require forest permission may operate.

Enjoy a freshly prepared Bengali meal while the journey continues through the waterways.

Continue at a relaxed pace, with tea and snacks served before returning toward Godkhali.

Food remains part of the day—not an interruption to it.
Meals are prepared and served onboard so the journey can continue without turning the day into a sequence of restaurant stops.

A hot Bengali-style breakfast. A typical example is luchi, aloor dom and egg omelette.
Mid-morning snack
A simple freshly prepared snack, such as vegetable pakora and a fish preparation.
Lunch
A Bengali meal with rice, dal, vegetable sides and confirmed vegetarian/non-vegetarian preparations.
Afternoon
Tea with snacks such as jhal muri and vegetable, paneer or chicken pakora.
The menu may change according to season, fresh availability and operational conditions. Vegetarian meals can be arranged when informed before confirmation. Guests must disclose serious allergies or dietary restrictions in advance; the team will confirm what can reasonably be accommodated.

An open-air boat built around the journey.
Max Adventures is naturally ventilated and non-AC. Day Tour guests spend the journey close to the river environment, with covered/open seating areas, onboard meal service and a practical toilet/bathroom facility.

A Royal Bengal Tiger sighting can never be promised. The Sundarbans is a living tidal landscape, not a controlled wildlife display.
Mangrove waterways, changing tides, birds and other animals may appear naturally as the route unfolds. The quality of the day should never depend on one guaranteed sighting.
No responsible operator can guarantee a tiger.

Is Max Adventures air-conditioned?
No. Max Adventures is naturally ventilated and open-air. Guests should choose it because they are comfortable with the river breeze, temperature and seasonal conditions—not because they expect an enclosed AC cabin.
What is included in the shared Day Tour?
The confirmed shared Day Tour includes scheduled pickup and return from the selected Kolkata points, road transfer to and from the agreed boarding point, the Max Adventures boat journey, and meals and refreshments through the day. Where the forest-permit programme is confirmed, the applicable forest-permit arrangements and Forest Guide are included with that programme. Your booking confirmation will state the final inclusions for the chosen date.
Does Max Adventures operate every day?
Yes, subject to availability and operating conditions. Max Adventures operates on Tuesdays. The permitted forest and sightseeing programme may differ from other days and is confirmed before booking according to current Forest Department instructions, tide, weather and operating conditions.
Are children free?
Every child requires a paid booking and must be included in the guest count. The applicable date-wise price is confirmed before booking.
Is a Royal Bengal Tiger sighting guaranteed?
No. Wildlife is entirely natural. A tiger or any other specific animal cannot be guaranteed. The mangrove landscape, waterways, birds and naturally occurring sightings form the experience.
Can I book Max Adventures privately?
Yes, subject to availability. A private Day Tour or private multi-day open-air journey can be discussed. Kolkata pickup and/or drop is optional and is not automatically included unless stated in the quotation or confirmation. Private forest-permit sightseeing is quote-specific and does not use the Shared Day Tour 9-guest threshold. A Forest Guide is included only when forest permission is confirmed, and an alternative non-permit river/mangrove route may be offered when permission is unavailable.
