Meet Max Adventures
Max Adventures is a naturally ventilated, open-air, non-AC Sundarban boat used for small-group Day Tours and private journeys.
Closer to the river—with expectations kept clear.
Open-air means the breeze, temperature, humidity and changing weather remain part of the experience. Covered areas provide practical protection, but this is not an enclosed AC cabin environment.
Guests who enjoy natural airflow and wide river views often value that closeness. Guests who require air-conditioned accommodation should consider Whispering Winds instead.
The Day Tour layout
Open deck and views
The river and mangrove edges remain visible throughout the journey.
Meal service
Meals and refreshments are prepared/served onboard.
Toilet/bathroom
A practical onboard toilet/bathroom is available.
Approved safety arrangements
- Life jackets are carried onboard.
- Lifebuoys are carried onboard.
- A trained crew manages the vessel.
- A Forest Guide accompanies only a confirmed forest-permit programme.
Guests must follow crew instructions throughout boarding and the boat journey, and Forest Guide instructions whenever a confirmed forest-permit programme operates.
Private multi-day journeys use a functional onboard format.
Max Adventures can be considered for private overnight journeys with functional sleeping arrangements, common deck space and an onboard bathroom. The format remains naturally ventilated and non-AC.
It is intended for guests who value open-air exploration more than enclosed accommodation. It must not be presented as equivalent to Whispering Winds’ AC cabins.
