Privacy Policy
Please read this information carefully before proceeding with an enquiry or booking.
Who handles information
Max Adventures is a brand operated by M R Tour & Travels. This policy applies when you use maxadventures.in or book.maxadventures.in, contact us, make an enquiry or proceed with a booking. M R Tour & Travels is a sister concern of Houseboat Holidays Pvt. Ltd.
Information you may provide
Depending on the stage of the enquiry or booking, we may receive your name, mobile number, email address, preferred date, guest count, child details, pickup point, tour preference, dietary or practical requirements and communications with us.
Government identification details are not collected on the public marketing website. After a confirmed booking, identification details may be required for forest permission, authority requirements, passenger records or other legal and operational purposes. They should be submitted only through the approved private guest-information process.
Information collected automatically
The website or its service providers may process basic technical information such as device/browser type, approximate location derived from network information, pages viewed, referral source, timestamps and security logs. Analytics and conversion measurement are configured not to send guest contact details, booking-form answers, payment details or message content.
Booking journey measurement
To understand where the booking process needs improvement, we count selected steps such as viewing availability, reviewing a quote, creating a request and opening WhatsApp. This measurement uses a random browser-session identifier, transformed on the server for the current observation day, and a broad tour category. It does not receive names, phone numbers, travel dates, message content, booking references or advertising click identifiers. Records use bounded, rotating storage, and only recent observations appear in reports restricted to authorised staff. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences are respected for this measurement.
Google Ads conversion measurement
Google Ads may use cookies or similar identifiers to attribute an advertising visit and measure whether it leads to a booking request. When a booking request is successfully saved or its prepared WhatsApp message is opened, the booking application sends a conversion event with the booking reference as a transaction identifier to prevent duplicate counting. These events do not include the guest name, mobile number, tour date, guest count, requirements, message content or payment details.
Why information is used
Information may be used to answer enquiries, check availability, provide quotes, confirm bookings, arrange transport, meals, forest permissions, guides and crew coordination, communicate journey updates, maintain operational and financial records, protect the website and comply with lawful requirements.
Sharing
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with people and service providers involved in the confirmed journey, such as authorised staff, drivers, crew, guides, payment/communication/hosting providers and competent authorities where required. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legitimate rights and safety.
No sale of personal information
We do not sell guest enquiry or booking information as a commercial data product.
WhatsApp and external services
When you continue to WhatsApp or use another third-party service, that service processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. Review the message before sending it.
Post-booking identification
Government identification details may be required after a confirmed booking for forest permission, authority requirements, passenger records or other legal and operational purposes. They should be collected only through the approved process, made available only to authorised persons who need them and retained only for legitimate operational, legal or record-keeping purposes.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, booking, permissions, service, accounting, dispute resolution, security and applicable legal obligations. Different categories may require different retention periods.
Child data
Booking information relating to a child must be provided by the child’s parent or lawful guardian. Where applicable law requires consent for processing a child’s personal data, M R Tour & Travels will obtain the required verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian before processing that data. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the accuracy of information supplied and for supervising the child during travel.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used according to the service being provided. No internet or communication system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so guests should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary messages.
Choices and corrections
You may contact us to ask about, correct or request deletion of enquiry information, subject to information that must be retained for a confirmed booking, accounting, permissions, legal obligations, security or dispute resolution.
Consent and withdrawal
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out and does not require deletion of information that M R Tour & Travels must retain for a confirmed booking, accounting, permissions, security, dispute resolution or another lawful requirement. You may also contact the Privacy & Data Queries contact regarding any concern about how your personal data is handled.
Updates
This policy may be updated when the website, booking process or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
