November to February
Cooler and generally most comfortable
Cooler mornings and more comfortable daytime conditions make this the easiest all-round period for many first-time guests, families and senior travellers. Popular dates may receive enquiries earlier.
March to April
Warmer days and strong river light
Temperatures rise, but the light and changing colours can be rewarding for photography. Guests should be comfortable with warmer afternoons and stronger sun.
May to June
Hot, humid and physically more demanding
Max Adventures is non-AC, so summer heat is an important factor. This period is better suited to guests who tolerate heat well and can follow sun-protection and hydration guidance.
July to September
Lush monsoon landscape with less predictability
Rain can make the mangroves vivid and atmospheric, but weather may change quickly. Timings, routes or operation can be affected when safety requires it. Carry suitable rain protection and remain flexible.
October
A transition toward the cooler season
Conditions begin shifting away from peak monsoon, although humidity and occasional rain may remain. Check the date-specific forecast and operating advice closer to travel.
