DAY 1 | MEET MAX AND EXPLORE THE WATERWAYS

  1. Morning

Depart Kolkata and board at Godkhali

If transfer is booked, start from Kolkata at 6:00-6:30 AM. Board at 9:30 AM for welcome refreshments and breakfast.

  2. Morning / noon

River views and the confirmed programme

Cruise past village shores and mangroves. A Sajnekhali visit may be included with confirmed forest permission. Lunch is planned around 1:30 PM.

  3. Afternoon / night

A slower afternoon and your night aboard

Enjoy river cruising, tea/snacks and dinner. Relax on deck before settling into your berth at the agreed overnight mooring.

DAY 2 | SUNRISE, FURTHER EXPLORATION AND RETURN

  1. Around sunrise

    Morning tea and breakfast

Wake up to the river landscape. Enjoy breakfast around 8:00-8:30 AM before continuing the day's confirmed route.

  2. Morning

    More time among the mangroves

Explore permitted waterways. Sudhanyakhali may be included, with a Forest Guide for confirmed forest visits. The final route avoids unnecessary repeat stops.

  3. Around 1:30 PM

    Lunch, then the return cruise

Enjoy Bengali lunch aboard. Take in the afternoon river views with tea and snacks as the boat heads towards Godkhali.

  4. 4:00 PM

    Disembark and travel onward

If Kolkata drop is booked, the road journey starts around 4:30 PM. Estimated city arrival is 7:30-8:30 PM, traffic dependent.

Your stay & inclusions

The private boat arrangement and scheduled meals from boarding to disembarkation are included. Kolkata pickup and drop are optional and quoted separately. Confirm the agreed jetty, transfer and group arrangements before travel.

Functional sleeping berths, common deck space and an onboard toilet/shower are available. Please discuss sleeping arrangements and boarding needs before confirmation. The boat does not cruise continuously overnight.

Carry requested ID, secure footwear, sun/rain protection, prescribed medicines and a small manageable bag.

Your confirmed programme

Private forest visits are subject to permit availability and authority approval. The shared-tour minimum of 9 guests does not apply to private journeys.

When forest permission is confirmed, the applicable forest-permit arrangements and Forest Guide are included with that programme. A Forest Guide is not automatically included on an alternative non-permit route. An alternative river-and-mangrove programme may operate when permission is unavailable.

Max Adventures operates on Tuesdays. The permitted forest and sightseeing programme may differ from other days and is confirmed before booking according to current Forest Department instructions, tide, weather and operating conditions. The booking page identifies the Tuesday Alternative Route Programme; a returned fare or available place does not confirm the usual forest programme.

No named watchtower or wildlife sighting is guaranteed. Routes may change with tide, weather, authority instructions and operating conditions.
