DAY 1 | A DAY ON THE WATER, FOLLOWED BY A NIGHT ABOARD

  1. 6:00-6:30 AM

Kolkata start, if transfer is booked

Travel to Godkhali. Guests arranging their own transport should reach the confirmed boarding point before 9:30 AM.

  2. 9:30 AM

Board and begin your river journey

Welcome refreshments and breakfast aboard Max Adventures. Settle in as riverside villages give way to mangrove scenery.

  3. Late morning

    Explore the confirmed route

Sajnekhali and/or Sudhanyakhali may form part of a confirmed forest programme. Otherwise, enjoy an alternative river-and-mangrove route.

  4. Around 1:30 PM

    Lunch and an afternoon afloat

Enjoy Bengali lunch, followed by more river views and tea/snacks. Return towards the agreed overnight mooring.

  5. Evening / night

Stay aboard instead of heading home

Share dinner and relaxed time on deck. Overnight near the deboarding point allows an early finish the next morning.

DAY 2 | A GENTLE MORNING, THEN HOME

  1. Early morning

    Morning tea and breakfast

Enjoy the river light and breakfast before departure. Any short morning cruise follows the available time and conditions.

  2. 8:00 AM

Disembark and begin your onward journey

Your boat stay ends at the agreed jetty. If booked, Kolkata transfer follows; pickup and arrival times are confirmed separately.

Your stay & inclusions

The private boat arrangement and scheduled meals from boarding to disembarkation are included. Kolkata pickup and drop are optional and quoted separately. Confirm the agreed jetty, transfer and group arrangements before travel.

Functional sleeping berths, common deck space and an onboard toilet/shower are available. Please discuss sleeping arrangements and boarding needs before confirmation. The boat does not cruise continuously overnight.

Carry requested ID, secure footwear, sun/rain protection, prescribed medicines and a small manageable bag.

Your confirmed programme

Private forest visits are subject to permit availability and authority approval. The shared-tour minimum of 9 guests does not apply to private journeys.

When forest permission is confirmed, the applicable forest-permit arrangements and Forest Guide are included with that programme. A Forest Guide is not automatically included on an alternative non-permit route. An alternative river-and-mangrove programme may operate when permission is unavailable.

Max Adventures operates on Tuesdays. The permitted forest and sightseeing programme may differ from other days and is confirmed before booking according to current Forest Department instructions, tide, weather and operating conditions. The booking page identifies the Tuesday Alternative Route Programme; a returned fare or available place does not confirm the usual forest programme.

No named watchtower or wildlife sighting is guaranteed. Routes may change with tide, weather, authority instructions and operating conditions.
